High Winds & Quick Catches: Sunset Mackerel Fishing in Newfoundland!
Fought heavy wind in the Bay of Islands for a short evening of mackerel fishing. The conditions made finding the school a challenge, but the views and golden hour backdrop made every cast worth it.
Pulled a few nice fish out of the water before the wind finally blew us off.

Never got a video this weekend but had a deadly couple days with family! Mom and Dad came into Corner Brook and we were flat out! We moved my 8x10 shed out of the middle of the yard and poked it off to the side, did some mackerel fishing, had a big ol' BBQ and took a relaxing float down the Humber river. Can't beat family time and free labour! Lol
Escaping To The Woods To Cook, Think, & Remember
Sometimes you just need to pack up the truck, head into the woods, and take a minute to quiet the noise.
In this video, I took a solo drive out into the Newfoudnland woods to clear my head, cook up some fresh cod over an open fire, and share some real life updates, including processing the recent loss of my uncle.
It’s an honest, quiet conversation about grief, memories, accompliments, and taking time to reset out in nature. Thanks for tagging along on this one. If you knew my Uncle Greg, I'd love to hear a story or two from you

Well b'ys, it seems like we've made to the transition period of the summer. Starting to cool off, days aren't as long, but still too early for hunting season lol
Let me know what your plans are for the weekend! Perhaps you'll inspire me to try something new myself
Well folks, it's been a long time since I've posted a video - feels like forever, even though it's only two weeks. Here's a little one I put together this weekend on a whim!
Cod Fishing in Salvage. Newfoundland: Battling Heavy Swells for Our Limit
We headed out on the water in Eastport, Newfoundland, for a great day of cod fishing! Conditions were a bit choppy with some rolling swells, but that didn't slow us down. We stayed on the fish and managed to haul in our full limit of Newfoundland cod.
Nothing beats a good day on the ocean with a full cooler at the end of it!

Hey everyone,
Just touching base. I was hoping to be more active on the page this week and get a new video out for you guys this weekend. Unfortunately, that won't be the case this week.
On Monday, I lost a man who was very important to me. A man that had a very active role in shaping my love for the outdoors. My Uncle Greg Handcock passed away after a courageous battle with cancer and in all honesty, this is a very tough one to process.
This week and weekend, I'll be spending time with friends and family to help process the loss of such an incredible person.
Don't stray too far, new videos will be coming before long but right now, family is all that's on my mind. We'll see you all soon and thanks for the support in this difficult time
Hope everyone had a great weekend! Been a little disconnected from the page this last week. Work and personal life has been super busy. Haven't forgotten about ya though! Can't wait to get back out in the woods👍
The New Spot Failed Us… So We Hit the HONEY HOLE!
Me and Andrew decided to test our luck at a new pond to see if we could find a new brook trout hotspot. After coming up short, we made the call to fall back to the proven Honey Hole from last week's video... and man, did it deliver!
We ended up landing 11 beautiful brookies, fried up some moose sausages, and hiked back to the truck right as the light was fading all while enjoying the beauty of Newfoundland's west coast.

Beautiful sunset last night looking over Corner Brook from the top of Marble Mountain!
No filter, no editing - just a natural orange sky
I Fished a Remote Newfoundland Pond for Aggressive Brook Trout… (Crazy Action!)
Just outside of Corner Brook lies a pond with an eery story that most locals avoid… so naturally, Indy and I had to go fish it.
The weather was absolutely brutal—gale-force winds that almost blew us away and rain that wouldn't quit. The fishing? UNBELIEVABLE.
Despite battling the elements, the fishing was hot so we managed to hit our limit!
