👇Outdoorsy adventure travel has been my whole identity for the last 17 years, and I’m a bit embarrassed to admit that:
1. I don’t get outside as much as I used to … especially this year, taking content creation seriously. It’s crazy how I look like I’m always outside online, but I’m actually more inside than I’ve ever been 👩💻
2. I still make major mistakes on trips. Not calculating enough gas to cook. I should know better by now, I make lists, read books, try to get more structured. It helps, but there are always new mistakes waiting 🤷♀️
3. I’m still not in the shape I want to be, for someone who’s trained this long. I’m often the slowest one in the group 🐢
4. I’m still not good at packing light. I always bring too much stuff (I’m on the “just in case” side a lot) 😅
5. I compare myself to others, wondering why I’m not doing more “extreme” trips like I used to dream of 🏔️
6. I don’t have as many friends to go with anymore.. schedules are different, and a lot of them have kids now. So I adventure solo a lot. I’m liking it, but I miss the old days 🏔️
But I’m embracing my mid 30s, learning as I go, and still trying to make the most of it. Grateful for everything I get to do and learn ✨

I’m putting together a guide on everything I wish I’d known before doing a ski trip in Japan in an RV, do you have any questions or things you’re curious about, so I make sure to cover it all? Thanks! :)

📸Photo dump from my last 2 weeks in the Sea to Sky ✈️🏔️✨
I was 17 when I first visited the Sea to Sky area, my first time leaving home and my first time on a plane. I wanted to go snowboarding all summer (which we could still do on Blackcomb back then) I turned 18 while I was there (the legal drinking age back home) only to realize the legal age out there is actually 19! 🤣
Since then I’ve been back over 15 times.. whether for work or extended holidays. There’s just so much to explore !!
I spent a good chunk of my 20s wanting to move there for good but I was way too broke 😄and for other reasons I ended up moving back to Quebec instead. This region has always held a special place in my heart 😍
This year the plan was to explore the Chilcotins ( float plane dropping us in the mountains with our bikes for a bikepacking expedition ) but the whole area was burning so badly this summer 😢 (maybe next year)!! I also wanted to do the legendary Tantalus Traverse, but my forever Achilles tendinitis didnt let me take on something that big ⛰️
So I ended up doing smaller missions and relaxing more than planned.. which I needed anyway 😆
See you next year Sea to Sky 🙋♀️
True story 😄
Panama is way more affordable than its neighbour Costa Rica, and has some of the most diverse wildlife and landscapes in Central America 🌿🦜
Here’s how the trip went: 15 days in Panama 🇵🇦
We started with 2 nights in Panama City 🏙️, spending the first day exploring the city: a metropolitan walk along the Cinta Costera + visiting the charming streets of Casco Viejo, the old downtown. On the second day, we left at 5 am for an epic 3-day sailboat trip through the San Blas archipelago ⛵🏝️ snorkelling, fishing, and exploring remote islands.
We rented a car after the sailing trip and made our way to Santa Catalina, where we joined a day excursion through GetYourGuide to snorkel in Coiba National Park 🐢🐠 a living aquarium and UNESCO World Heritage Site (That’s where the turtle video is from!)
Next stop: Boquete for 2 nights ☕🌋 hiking through cloud forest jungle and tasting some of the best coffee in the world, grown right there on the volcanic slopes of Volcán Barú.
Then on to Bocas del Toro for 2 nights 🌧️ luck wasn’t on our side with rain for the whole stay, but the jungle was sooo alive, loved it.
From there we headed to Cambutal for 3 nights 🏄🧘 a yoga and surf place, volcanic dark sand beaches with some breathtaking sunrises and sunsets🌅🖤
Finally, a quick stop through Valle de Antón 🌄 on the way back to the airport to drop off the rental car !

For your next adventure under the stars ⛺️🍂
I love taking my iPhone on adventures because it keeps me light, but still lets me capture magical moments. With the right tricks, your phone can do way more than you think✨
Here’s how I get insane night photos with just my iPhone:
📸 Stability first → Always use a tripod. Even the steadiest hands can’t hold still for long exposures
⏱ No shaky hands → Set a 3 second timer so you don’t blur the shot when pressing the shutter
✨ Long exposure magic → Adjust the exposure time between 15–30 seconds to let in enough light for the stars to pop
🌠 For more detail → Switch to RAW Max (top right). This unlocks way more data for editing later
🔍 Pick the right lens → Stick to the 1x lens, it’s got the highest resolution sensor, which means it handles night shots way better
⭐️ Save this post for your next adventure under the night sky, and tell me if you try it out!
