A huge thank you to all the fighters who travelled from all over Ontario to be part of today. You all brought heart, courage, and respect into that ring. The bouts were incredible!

Thank you to our supervisor—it was such a pleasure working with you today, and I truly can’t wait to do more events together. Thank you as well to every coach who spent the day in the corners supporting and guiding their athletes.

To all of our volunteers, thank you from the bottom of my heart. A very special thank you to Stephanie North—you absolutely saved my butt today, girl! You were my sidekick all day, and I truly do not think I could have pulled it off without you. Thank you for being there and helping with absolutely everything.

I am so proud of every boxer who stepped into that ring today. For many of you, it was your very first fight, and it was so incredible to watch the emotions, the hard work, the nerves, and the strength it took to hold it together—win or lose. You all did amazing and should be so proud of yourselves.

The last week or two has been stressful, but we did it. Sometimes life throws punches at you—literally—but we had an amazing team behind us. Thank you to all the guys who helped build the ring, take it down, and make this whole day happen.

Twin Tiger Boxing Academy Update 🥊

Tomorrow, Saturday, August 29, the gym will only be open from 5:00–7:00a.m. We have our big End of Summer Showdown event and need to start setting up at 8:00 a.m.

Sunday, we will still be open from 5:00am–8:45 a.m. for anyone with private lessons. After that, we will be setting up for our Kids Vendor Market at 9:00 a.m.

Our Kids Vendor Market runs Sunday from 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Come out and support these amazing young entrepreneurs!

And if you don’t have plans tomorrow, come join us at the Wasaga Beach RecPlex for our boxing event. Tickets will be available at the door, so there is no need to purchase ahead of time if you don’t want to.

Doors open at 3:00 p.m.
Bouts begin at 4:00 p.m.

Hey guys! I’m so excited to be hosting another Kids Vendor Market! You all know how much I love supporting our community and our young entrepreneurs.

A lot of people have been asking, so just to clarify: there is absolutely no cost for children to set up a table. We simply want to give kids a fun, safe opportunity to build confidence, learn to count money, interact with people, be social, and make their own money while gaining a little independence.

Cody and I at Twin Tiger Boxing Academy are so proud to host this event and watch all of these amazing kids work hard on their businesses.

We are grateful to Sober Friends for donating a $100 cash prize for our Entrepreneur of the Day! And thank you to Dirty Beach kids for donating a T-shirt to the winner.

Community members who stop by will be able to grab a ballot from one of the Twin Tiger Boxing Academy owners and vote for the kid’s business they feel deserves the prize.

Every child participating has put time, effort, and creativity into their table, and they are all doing an incredible job. While there can only be one cash-prize winner at the end of the day, every single young entrepreneur should feel proud of themselves.

We’re excited to welcome Dave Gibbons as the official MC for this Saturday’s End of Summer Showdown at the Wasaga Beach RecPlex! 🎤🥊

Dave has generously volunteered to guide us through the evening, introduce each bout, and help create an unforgettable atmosphere for every boxer stepping into the ring. Having a strong, engaging voice behind the microphone makes such a difference on fight night, and we’re very lucky to have him with us.

Dave and his wife Gail are familiar faces in Wasaga Beach through their popular trivia events. Their trivia nights are all about bringing people together for laughs, friendly competition, and community connection—while also supporting meaningful local causes.
