Attention Crowsnest Mountain Gun Club Members!
We’ve got some maintenance to tackle up at the range, and Cliff could use a few helping hands. If you’re able to pitch in, send him a message — he’ll give you the shack access info (same code as the gate).
🛠️ Jobs That Need Doing
• Whack weeds around the range
• Trim berm weeds to 4–5 inches to prevent erosion
• Pick up fist‑sized rocks from berms
• Re‑stand and secure the 300‑yard wind‑deflector fence (needs 3 new posts)
• Mow the grass from the range outward toward the gate
Cliff will handle the backboards, outhouse, garbage, and cleaning the shack.
📲 Don’t Forget
When you arrive, scan the QR code at the gate or bulletin board to log in/out.
At the main range gate, raise red when entering and green when everyone has left.
🔧 New Bench Rest Covers
Five benches now have hinged tin covers — flip them over and store them under the bench while shooting.
Thanks to everyone who helps keep our range safe, clean, and running smoothly.
Read the poster beside the QR code for full details.

🔥 New at the Crowsnest Mountain Gun Club & Range! 🔥
We’ve just launched a brand‑new QR code sign‑in & sign‑out system at the gate — you’ll find it posted on the north side. A quick scan with your phone and boom… you’re logged in when you arrive and logged out when you leave. No paper. No hassle. Clean, accurate records to keep us compliant with the Canadian Fi****ms Program.
But here’s where it gets fun…
🎁 GIVEAWAY TEASER TIME 🎁
We’re cooking up a member giveaway that’s going to drop in the coming weeks — and here’s your hint:
Every scan = an entry.
Yep. Every time you sign in and sign out using the new QR code, you’re stacking your chances. The more you shoot, the more you scan, the better your odds. Consider it a little bonus for showing up and doing things the right way.
Stay tuned… this is going to be good.
