🕚 Arena opens at 11AM
🌭 Concession open from 11:30AM until the end of barrel racing

💥 Outdoor jackpots are officially on the schedule!

All jackpots will run as double headers, with the option to roll your time (you must declare before the first jackpot starts).

Pre‑entry for May 14th goes up tomorrow morning and closes Thursday at noon.
If you enter on site, you’ll be added to the bottom of the draw.

These are not a series, just a chance to get everyone qualified for ABRA - Alberta Barrel Racing Association finals.

🗓 Race Dates (ABRA Posted)

• May 27 – 5:00 PM & 7:00 PM
• June 17 – 5:00 PM & 7:00 PM
• July 8 – 5:00 PM & 7:00 PM
• July 29 – 5:00 PM & 7:00 PM
• August 19 – 5:00 PM & 7:00 PM
• September 5 – FINALS (Starts at 12:00 PM)

Onsite Entries:

• Accepted until 30 minutes before race time
• Placed at the bottom of the draw

Pre-Entries:

• Posted 1 week prior to each race date

• All races are weather dependent
• Final decision made by 12:00 PM on race day
• Please check the Haven Hills page before hauling

• Peewee – 1 second split

⏰ Schedule – 5:00 PM Slot

• Arena open riding: 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM
• 4:00 PM: Time Only (be ready – arena opens immediately after)
• After Time Only: Arena open (no barrels) until 4:40 PM
• Arena worked: 4:40 PM – 5:00 PM
• Jackpot Starts: 5:00 PM

⏰ Schedule – 7:00 PM Slot

• Time Only (if time allows between jackpots)
• Runs after first jackpot until approx. 6:15 PM
• Arena open (no barrels): 6:15 PM – 6:40 PM
• Arena worked: 6:40 PM – 7:00 PM
• Jackpot Starts: 7:00 PM

💰 Season Fees

• Series Entry: $60 per rider (not per horse)
• Time Only: $10/run
• Peewee: $15/run
• Youth: $40/run
• Open: $60/run
• Exhibitions (after race): $10/run

🏁 Race Format

• Order: Peewee → Youth → Open
• Arena raked every 5 runs (Youth & Open)

💵 Payments & Payouts

• eTransfer accepted after 12:00 PM on race day
• Cash accepted onsite
• Payouts sent via eTransfer

🏆 Series Qualification

• Only riders entered in the Series qualify for finals prizes & added money
• No minimum attendance required (points-based system applies)
• If you cannot attend finals, arrange someone to collect your prizes
• All riders eligible for day money only even if not entered in the series

🧹 Ground Rules

• Clean up after yourself and your horses
• Use garbage bins provided
• No dumping manure in the bush
• Take manure (horse & dog) from trailers with you
• Respect the property and stay within marked areas

⚠️ Safety Rules

• Drive 10 km/h – children & animals on site
• Dogs must be on leash at all times
• Aggressive dogs will be asked to leave
• Please dispose of cigarette butts in ashtrays

🚛 Parking

• Turn left into marked parking area
• Park with:
– Trailer facing trees
– Truck toward center
• Be courteous and leave room for others

📌 ABRA Sanctioned

• All races are ABRA sanctioned
• Valid ABRA membership required

Riders must:

• Follow ABRA rules
• Enter the correct division
• Bring ID for verification
