We recently capped off our 2025-2026 training season with a club-wide BBQ & the Pauline Erne Memorial Awards! What a great season it has been!

As always, we did a balloon toss, shared great food and hung out with all of the wonderful families from both of our Dojangs! This was a very well attended event and thank you to everyone who came out. Also, congrats to all of the awards recipients who earned awards for…

A huge shoutout to Mr. Peacock and Mr. Orcutt who attended the UTTC World Cup in Lethbridge, Alberta this past weekend. It was a great opportunity for a couple of our avid black belts to gain extra experience against new opponents and against other styles of TKD from around the world.

A huge thank you for the invitation and congrats to all of the athletes!

Mr. Peacock earned a silver medal in patterns and also competed in point sparring, continuous sparring and team sparring.

Mr. Orcutt earned a silver medal in patterns and a GOLD medal in point sparring and also completed in continuous sparring!

Mr. Peacock also recently travelled to Prince George, BC to compete in the BC Cup earning a silver medal in sparring and bronze in patterns!

Keep up the great work guys!!!

This month our life skill is BALANCE!

β€œA situation in which the correct amount of importance is given to each thing so that a situation is successful.”

BALANCE is a life skill that is all about maintaining harmony among the many things that we value. The spring and summer seasons are especially demanding of our time and attention and it requires a great deal of BALANCE in order to achieve success and not lose the progress that we have made. BALANCING all of the things such as Family/Friends, Fun, Work/School, Health/Fitness and of course… Taekwon-Do takes a great deal of focus, intentional planning and sometimes sacrifice. What can you do this month to ensure that you are able to BALANCE it all?

This month our life skill is COURTESY!

β€œA courteous, respectful or considerate act or expression.”

Training in martial arts teaches us many different things, from self-defense to physical fitness and beyond. Perhaps one of the greatest gifts of martial arts training is learning to be respectful and considerate of others. This month, we will be talking about COURTESY, the first tenet of Taekwon-Do.
