Nova is a 10 year old “grade” Percheron mare standing 17.2hh.

Nova arrived in November 2025. We were told she had suffered a severe foaling injury and should not be rebred, yet she was with stud c**ts. We immediately consulted a veterinarian for an ultrasound (and vaccinations), which confirmed she was not pregnant thankfully. We also wanted an internal exam done which was conducted at the same time as the pregnancy check.

During this time we identified several discrepancies. Nova is in fact papered (not grade), she is 10 years old, born June 7 2016, contrary to the stated age of 7. She had a healthy foal in 2020, which may have been the one associated with the ruptures, or she might have been bred again with an unsuccessful outcome. Our veterinarian confirmed that Nova did suffer a traumatic foaling experience resulting in significant ruptures and should not be rebred.

Previously, Nova's hoof care consisted of trimming every six months in stocks, but she has since been trained to lift and hold her feet for trims. She is responsive to positive reinforcement and is very food motivated. Nova lunges and rides w/t/c. We were told she was drove a handful of times as a team however we cannot test this but can confirm that she ground drives. She is very lazy and uses a lot of leg. She has been used by complete beginners and is not spooky.

On the ground, Nova can be pushy, so a chain is used for leading. She is currently out 24/7 in a mixed herd of 15 and is mid-to-high pecking order.

Nova received vaccinations, including 4-way and rabies, in the fall, and her teeth were recently done on June 2nd, revealing significant issues on one side, with a recommendation for follow-up care in 6 months.

CARE LEASE AVAILABLE

Tommy, a 20-year-old, 11.3hh pony, is available for a free off-property lease as a care lease to the perfect home.

He was rescued from Olex in 2019, moved between multiple homes and has been with us since February 2025.

Due to his past experiences, Tommy is a nervous pony who can be difficult to catch in a field, especially for those he is not familiar with. He does well with routine and will walk right into his stall daily for dinner. However, once caught, he is well-behaved, stands for grooming, and lifts all four feet.

Tommy lunges w/t/c, accepts tack and the bit, and has been ground-driven. He was started under saddle at a walk last summer but has since been a pasture pet.

He is currently living in a mixed herd on pasture with 24/7 access to Timothy/Alfalfa hay. Tommy is not herd-bound and can be left alone for periods of time. He can be stalled at night or outside 24/7. Tommy is bottom of the pecking order and keeps to himself. He would make an ideal companion pony.

Maverick is an 18-year-old standardbred gelding, standing approximately 16 hands high.

Due to his owners' advanced age and relocation to an assisted living facility, Maverick was surrendered to our care. For 18 years, he lived a predictable life on the same farm he was born at, with the same routine, stabled at night, and turned out with the same few horses during the day. Maverick has recently transitioned to living outdoors 24/7 with a herd of 15 horses and is doing great with it.

Prior to coming to us, Maverick had no experience being ridden and was hitched to a buggy a handful of times. Despite his limited experience, Maverick displays impressive floaty movement, and a gentle disposition. He is being rode w/t and does not pace. He would do best with an experienced rider to continue his skills and showcase his potential.

Maggie, estimated to be 12-13 years old, stands at 15 hands high, with an unknown breeding history, but her long mane contributes to her distinct appearance.

Originally from Sunset Pastures, Maggie joined a dear friend in 2024, pregnant, underweight, and unhandled. She foaled out a big and healthy c**t, raised until weaning and then came to us for training. With a gentle approach, Maggie spent the past year adapting to her new environments, gaining weight, and building a foundation for halter training. She has learned pressure & release training, grooming, and that people are good. Maggie thrives on consistency and routine.

She does not have much confidence and is low to mid pecking order. Her progress highlights her resilience and adaptability. Due to some conformational limitations Maggie would be best suited to a companion home.

Pebbles is a grade quarter horse mare, approximately 8-10 years and standing 15hh.

Originally from Sunset Pastures, an operation infamous for extensive breeding practices, Pebbles was used as a broodmare. In fall 2023 she was purchased by an acquaintance, and foaled a beautiful c**t in the spring of 2024 (photoed). She was then exposed to a young blue roan stallion in fall 2024. Pebbles was handed over to another individual. Concerned about her potential fate, our group purchased Pebbles in February 2025.

Although a spring foal was anticipated, none was forthcoming, potentially due to issues with the stallion's breeding efficacy.

Pebbles is not halter broke. She free lunges in the round pen or arena (w/t/c), will turn to face you and take 1-2 steps in to join up.

She is current on her deworming schedule. Due to obvious reasons, her feet have never been trimmed; however, she naturally wears them down effectively.

Pebbles demonstrates potential for a riding horse with comprehensive training and commitment.

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

Marshmallow is looking for a family of his own.

He was abandoned by his previous owners who didn’t care for him. He arrived to us a little under a year ago, craving attention and human interaction after being neglected for quite sometime.

He is approximately 5 years old and litter box trained. He is not fixed and should be kept as an only rabbit. He is used to dogs and cats, nothing really phases him. Marshmallow is an extremely affectionate bunny. He primarily free roams our lounge area with outdoor time on nice days.

We are ONLY interested in adopting him to a pet home.

Our equestrian program welcomes individuals of all ages and skill levels, ranging from beginner to advanced. We emphasize safety, enjoyment, and proper horsemanship throughout our operations. Our comprehensive training programs aim to equip students with the skills to surpass their goals.

We offer group and private lessons, as well as day camp and part boarding opportunities.

Group lessons are 90 minutes in length and are arranged according to level and age whenever possible. This enables students to benefit from peer learning and collaboration.

Private lessons are also available and are 60 minutes long. Lesson time includes grooming, tacking and untacking.

Due to the lack of melanin the light reflects off their red blood vessels which makes their eyes appear red.

Many of you might know that our rescue works very closely with Laurel Lane as we are located just 5min from each other.

We are absolutely amazed with this mare. Millie is a 22 year old, registered thoroughbred mare, standing around 15.2.

Millie has gained ALOT of weight, so much that she can now be started under-saddle. She has had at-least 3+ years off as a pasture pet and spent a good bit of her life as a broodmare. That being said this was a video of her third ride undersaddle (second being me hopping on her ba****ck sitting in the paddock).

Millie is clearly broke to ride. She w/t/c at ease (we will test flying lead changes next ride). She can shorten and extend her trot. She has buttons and being slowly brought back into work we are finding more and more out about her each ride.

Someone needs to scoop this mare up, she has so much to offer as a light riding horse and is so sweet!
