The Chipman Fish and Game Club would like to thank everyone who took part in the Annual Grand Lake JDI Fishing Derby yesterday! It was a great day! Here is the list of cash prize winners:

!!!!! LAST DAY !!!!!! Today July 10, 2026 is your last chance to pre-register for the Annual Grand Lake JDI Fishing Derby and your chance at a chance at a $200 Bass Pro gift card. You have until 11:59 pm Atlantic time to get it in by email. If you are planning on pre-registering at the Municipality offices in Chipman, you only have until 4:00pm Atlantic time to do it.

Well we are only 57 hours left before the start of this year's Annual Grand Lake JDI Fishing! The derby start at 8am on July 11, 2026. Any your chance at a $200 Bass Pro gift card ends in 49 hours!!! All you have to do is pre-register for this event by 11:59pm Atlantic time on July 10, 2026!!

The Chipman Fish and Game Club is still looking for a couple of volunteers to help measure fish for this upcoming weekend's Annual Grand Lake JDI Fishing Derby. If you are available anywhere from 8am to 2pm, your help would be appreciated. Please let us know by messaging us or by email at [email protected]. Thank you.

This the final day to enter you or your child into our Rod giveaway contest!!! You have up until midnight tonight, July 6, 2026 to enter.

The Annual Grand Lake JDI Fishing Derby committee has 12 Youth Fishing rods from ages 5 to 16 to give out to the youth of the Municipality of Grand Lake and surrounding areas!

To have your or your child's name entered into the contest, please email us at the [email protected] and let us know why we should pick you or your child for one of the rods. Please also include your or your child's name and age. One last thing, please like and share this post.

The winner will be notified on July 7, 2026. The rods will be handed out on July 11, 2026 at 9am Atlantic at the library parking lot in Chipman
