Yoga has never been interested in separating the practice from the practitionerš§š¼āāļø
The way you breathe when challenged.
The way you respond when plans change.
The way you treat people when youāre tired.
The way you hold yourself when no one is watching.
These arenāt separate from your yoga.
They are your yoga.
The mat simply offers a place to notice the patterns that already exist.
Practice isnāt about becoming someone different for an hour each day.
Itās about allowing what you cultivate there to become how you live everywhere elseš©·

Many of us learned how to avoid conflict.
How to people-please.
How to hint instead of ask.
How to stay quiet instead of speaking honestly.
Very few of us were actually taught how to communicate.
Yoga reminds us that truthfulness isnāt simply about telling the truth. Itās about expressing ourselves with honesty, clarity, and compassionš©·
Healthy communication isnāt about winning an argument or always saying the perfect thing.
Itās about creating enough safety that truth can exist in the relationship.
Like any practice, communication develops through repetition.
Not perfectionāØ

One of the greatest risks in any profession isnāt a lack of knowledgeā¦
Itās believing youāve outgrown the need to keep learning.
In yoga, the role of the teacher has never been to become the authority. It has been to remain a studentš§š¼āāļø
The moment we stop questioning, reflecting, receiving feedback, or studying, the ego quietly fills the space where curiosity used to live.
Teaching becomes about protecting identity instead of serving students.
Who is teaching the teacher?
Itās a question every leader should continue askingš©·

The Yoga Sutras invite us to remember something many of us have forgotten: beneath the conditioning, the fear, the striving, and the stories we carry, our essential nature is already wholeš©·
This doesnāt mean life is free from challenge or pain. Rather, it reminds us that suffering often grows from our identification with thoughts, expectations, and the belief that we are separate from our true Self.
As our practice deepens, we begin to relate to lifeās experiences differently. We become less reactive, more present, and more rooted in what has always been within us- joy, love, and awareness.
If youāre ready to explore the wisdom of the Yoga Sutras beyond the mat, weād love to have you join us for this monthās Sutras Study Groupš§š¼āāļø

This isnāt about how many trainings youāve completed or how much you know. Itās about the depth of your own inner workš§š¼āāļø
What parts of yourself have you been willing to sit with?
What discomfort have you learned to breathe through?
What truths have you been brave enough to face?
As teachers, we donāt guide others where weāve never been. We create space from the spaces weāve first created within ourselves.
So the question isnāt, How can I become a better teacher?
Itās: What depth have I met myself at?
Because your presence will always teach more than your words ever can.
The deeper you meet yourself, the deeper youāll be able to meet those who come to learn from you.
