The North Dundas rockets would like to send out a big thank you! to the people that make our camp possible.

Special thanks to Dayna Young, Melissa Elliott, Todd Elliott and Jackson Merkley for all their hard work with registration and keeping us organized. A big thank you to Pat Young and Chloee Young for donating and preparing the snacks and sandwiches for the instructors.

Big Thank You to Head Coach Tylor Copeland for Organizing all the on ice instructors and drills!

Thanks to Assistant coach Brian Shaver and all the Jr Rocketplayers for giving up their evenings to help our future Rockets be successful and have fun on the ice!

And a huge thank you to all the players that come out and participated in our camp

Without you none of this is possible!

And last but not least all the parents that sacrifice their time and all the preparation it takes to get them to the rink to go out and enjoy the sport we all love to play!

Also please take some time to send us and email to let us know what we did well and what we could improve on. This input will help us improve the experience of our camp.

It is with a very heavy heart that the North Dundas Rockets organization announces the passing of long time coach Lenard McLean

Lenard joined our organization originally as a member of the Junior Rockets coaching staff before transitioning to the Senior Rockets team 5 years ago.

With long time friend and coaching partner Rob Sadler. He helped oversee a revitalization of the junior program that saw the organization become a contender in the NCJHL for many consecutive seasons

In 2020 he joined the expansion senior Rockets team as associate coach instantly becoming an integral part of the teams three championships in its first five seasons.

The Rockets would like to express our sincerest appreciation for the time and dedication Lenard gave to us and the community over the past decade with our organization.

We would also like to express condolences to the McLean family whose hockey history has deep roots within the North Dundas Community.

The Chesterville Arena will be a little cooler this season…..

Thank you Lenard! Rest in peace
