The 54th edition of the Jolly Bowl is now in the history books, and by all accounts, fun was had by all!
There was keen competition, with some great shots as well as some oh-so-close misses that may or may not have rivaled those seen at the Scotties or the Brier.
We had a new addition this year—the Jolly Bowl “Friendly Feud” challenge. This generated many laughs and pitted teams against answers to questions based on what “100 Canadians surveyed” had to say on a variety of topics.
Congratulations to all curlers for their effort and warm-hearted competition, which makes this event so welcoming to everyone. The competition was incredibly close, with the top three teams all within one point of each other.
First place was ultimately decided by a draw to the button and the team would hoist the coveted Anil Trophy was Jeff Lamb, Gary Clark, Janice Moreside, and Mark Swinamer
Second Place: Terry Ferguson, Merissa Jennex (who had some mommy duties to attend to), Faye Jones, and Gary Graves
Third Place: Lisa DeVos, Kyle McClusky, and Dave Adams
