What an incredible weekend at the Chemainus Ball Field! ⚾️☀️💙

A huge thank you to all the players, coaches, families, volunteers, umpires, sponsors, and fans who helped make this past weekend such a success.

The Chemainus 18U Tournament featured some outstanding baseball, with Layritz taking home 1st place and Gordon Head finishing a strong 2nd.

At the same time, the Larry Hopwo Memorial Invitational showcased exciting competition and great sportsmanship. The Duncan Dodgers captured 1st place after a thrilling championship game against the Gordon Head Hornets. Triangle Thunder earned 3rd place, and the Salt Spring Swamp Dogs were recognized with the Most Sportsmanlike Team Award.

Most importantly, the weekend was filled with great memories, outstanding teamwork, and plenty of smiles. We know Larry would have been proud to see so many young athletes enjoying the game, competing hard, and having fun together.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make this special weekend possible. We’re already looking forward to next year!

⚾️ The Larry Hopwo Memorial Tournament is happening this weekend! ⚾️

Come out and enjoy a weekend full of baseball, community, and fun while supporting our amazing kids on the field. There will be lots of great games happening all weekend long — we’d love to see the stands full!

We are also still looking for volunteers to help make the tournament a success. If you have a little time to spare, please consider signing up for a volunteer spot. Every bit of help makes a huge difference!
