Curling before we were Canada, since 1862! There is a licensed lounge facility, including a fully equipped kitchen, upstairs.
The Chatham Granite Club has five sheets of great curling ice plus change rooms with lockers all located on the main level of the facility. The lounge is air conditioned and available for summer rental for functions such as business meetings, showers, wedding, parties, etc. The Chatham Granite Club operates a fully stocked pro shop for all your curling equipment needs.

If you have ever wondered how curling stones are made. Ours are from Kay's, thanks to Ontario Trillium Foundation. There are some videos on Kay's website that might interest you
While Common Green granite forms the main body of the stone, Blue Hone granite is used for the running edge, the part of the stone that actually makes contact with the ice.
With its distinctive blue-grey appearance and unique properties, Blue Hone has an important job to do when it comes to how a curling stone performs.
