The North wind and rough waters didn’t help but they were able to reel in some nice walleye!

Friday was a little slow for us, I think due to the eclipse and pressure it had on the fish.
Fran, Jeff and Bob still enjoyed every minute on the water.

Saturday we took a different game plan and went to the deep water in search of some more active fish…. It paid off.

With the Dedobblear and Reid family and friends.
It was nice celebrating Francis on his 70th birthday!
Also catching up with some old time buddies.

Sunday and Mondays crew got the job done in short order boating 65 walleye in the 2 days.
Wheatley continues to produce big fish close to shore.
Repeat clients from Colorado, Dave and Rick along with some junior anglers reeled in their PB WALLEYES!

Last night we took out AG and his hockey buddies from London and area.
It was a beautiful night on the water and fishing was outstanding.

Saturday’s group from the 627
Braved the rough waters out of Wheatley and reeled in some big walleye for their annual fish fry.
Thank you cousin Matt, Jason, Rob and Ang for another great day on the water.

Here are the winners for the big boyz tournament. Congratulations to all the
anglers who came out to support the SWOC.
We fought hard to the bitter end, but came up a little short .
It was a great experience with Jason from Vertex Baits with his Ranger 620 pro fisherman boat.

No Fishing for team Mayhem and Vertex today with the wind and rain.

We met up with Ryan with Tackle Caddy to get some swag to help us reel in the big one.

Featured here are rechargeable planer board lights to help identifying early morning and late night bites.

Ryan is an Amherstburg local small business and has brought some great ideas for storing baits, planer boards, dipsys, rods and much more for the fishing industry.

He will be at the Wheatley Harbour tomorrow Monday August 3 with all his great gear. Come out and support this local business.

Big Boyz Tournament out of Wheatley today…
Took out the boys from Mitchell’s Bay and they absolutely crushed some nice walleye! Not big enough for the board but they have a nice pile of fish to enjoy!
Maybe next year fellas… it was a pleasure fishing with you.
