Sherwood Lawn Bowling Club

Well the weather didn’t cooperate to have the mixed doubles this weekend.

It is going to be moved to Friday September 18th and Sunday September 20th (club is hosting a corporate event on Saturday afternoon).

If you wish to sign up and haven’t already, sheet is still on the board. Deadline will be the Wednesday evening prior to the event.

An email has been sent out by Scott with similar info.

Big attendance this morning for the Charity Bowl. $150 was raised and will be donated to the QEH.

So…Amy’s last U25 has come to an end.

Results don’t actually show how well she played all week!!

Didn’t get a win in Singles but lost in a few tie breakers and some close sets.

Played with Cayden from Ontario in the pairs - finished with 3 wins 2 losses and 1 tie. They played real well together.

Sad to see this chapter of her lawn bowling experience come to and end. She is going to miss seeing all the friends she has made over the years.

Hopefully she will be able to represent PEI at the Canadians in future years!!!!

For anyone wanting to follow Amy at the U25 Canadians…here you go!! Competition starts Monday!!

Men vs Women was held today!! Ladies were going for the three-peat…BUT unfortunately the gentlemen were NOT going to allow that to happen!!

Congrats to Men on their victory!! The ladies will be back for revenge next year!
