From the fairways of Belvedere to the Octagon in Shanghai.

𝐂𝐚𝐦 𝐍𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐨𝐧, a Belvedere member and Charlottetown native, made his UFC debut yesterday at UFC Shanghai - and walked away with a unanimous decision victory over Ding Meng.

But here’s what makes this even more remarkable:

Cam became the first fighter from Prince Edward Island to compete and win inside the UFC Octagon.

His UFC debut was also his first fight outside of Canada, and he took the fight on just three weeks’ notice.

Not a bad way to introduce yourself to the UFC.

Congratulations, Cam! Now back to fighting 4-foot putts. 😂

𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐤𝐞 did it again.

Yesterday, Hunter made an albatross on #6, knocking in a 3-wood from 250 yards while playing with Lucas Hood.

And here’s the crazy part…

It’s his second career double-eagle. ✌

You may remember Hunter’s hole-in-one on the par-4 14th last year on July 23 - also while playing with Lucas.

Two albatrosses. Two incredible shots. One very special Junior member.

It didn’t take long for another one!

𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐈𝐬𝐚𝐚𝐜 pulled off the 17th hole-in-one of the season at Belvedere today, acing #9 with his pitching wedge.

Dave was playing with Linus Kelly, JD Gallant and Scott MacDonald when he gave them a pretty good reason to celebrate.

That makes FIVE aces at Belvedere since Friday. Congratulations, Dave!

𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐓 presented by 🚨

Golf Professional 𝐒𝐚𝐦 𝐑𝐨𝐲 with recorded an ACE to close his front 9 yesterday during the final round of the Island Open to then kick-start a 2-under tidy back nine en route to a 67 and a tie for third place in his division.

Playing alongside Nick Peters and Josh Landine, Roy chose a 𝟗-𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟏𝟐𝟗 𝐲𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 for the shot. No surprise he took a healthy share of the skins pool as well.

What a weekend for 's Justin Caron!

Justin fired a fantastic 𝟔𝟕 today in wet conditions to finish at the top of the Professional AND Overall Leaderboard with a 𝟕-𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 (𝟏𝟑𝟕) and claim the 71st Island Open title by three strokes and the $5,000 first place Professional prize.

After opening with a 15-par, 1-bogey, 1-birdie, 1-eagle 70 yesterday, he closed things out in style with a round that included six birdies to one bogey.

Justin finished three shots ahead of our own 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐚 and this year's 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫, who both finished at 𝟒-𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 (𝟏𝟒𝟎).

T2: Jason Campbell (Anderson’s Creek), Owen Hall (Belvedere), and Anthony Warren (Belvedere) at 2-under 142

T5: Grant Koughan, Kevin Chen, and Brodie Ward (all Belvedere) at 1-under 143

Evan Stewart of Belfast Highland Greens has captured the Men’s 3+ Handicap Division at the 71st Island Open presented by A.M. Burgoyne Insurance!

Evan followed up an opening-round 76 with a solid 74 today to finish at 𝟔-𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 (150) and claim the championship by two strokes over Belvedere’s Marcus Lynch.
