Another great gymnastics camp day in the books … today’s theme was the AMAZING RACE‼️
Our campers had a blast solving clues to travel country to country and perform “road blocks” to get their next clue 🕵️‍♀️
💦 we also had fun with the slip n’ slide and water balloons

Our next Cartwheel Academy summer camp is coming up Tuesday, August 11 and we’re taking our campers on THE AMAZING RACE! 🏁

Campers will work their way through fun challenges, games and activities inspired by a race around the world — with plenty of gymnastics, teamwork, outdoor fun and a few surprises along the way! 🌎🧩🤸‍♀️

Trust the process - every drill has a purpose 🤸‍♀️

Why does gymnastics take so long?

Because we’re not just teaching skills—we’re building athletes.

Every drill has a purpose. Every correction matters. Every repetition builds something bigger than the next trick.

Strong technique. Body awareness. Confidence. Consistency. Discipline.

Those things don’t happen overnight.

Sometimes parents wonder why we don’t move athletes up as soon as they have “the skills.” The answer is simple: our goal isn’t to create athletes who can do a skill once. Our goal is to develop athletes who can perform it safely, confidently, and consistently.

The athletes who stay patient and trust the process are usually the ones who end up accomplishing things they never imagined.

Progress may feel slow today…

But one day, you’ll look back and realize every step was worth it.

Another amazing day today at the festival de l’Escaouette in Cheticamp, NS:

🏃‍♀️ My girls participated in this mornings “fun run” - their goal next year is the 5km race

🇫🇷 We participated in the parade - sharing a float with our local Girl Guides Melanie Larade
We were small but mighty 💪 our gymnasts cartwheeled their way from the Cheticamp Church to the Trois Pignon 🤸‍♀️

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our Little Kids Activity Zone this afternoon - seen at least 40 kiddos.
So thankful it only rained when we were setting up and that the kids got to enjoy 2 hours of non-stop FUN‼️
