Phillip Poirier Memorial Hockey Pool – Regular Season Edition! 🏒🏆

You asked, and we listened! Since the local radio station won't be running their regular season pool this year, a lot of you reached out and asked if we could step in. We’re more than happy to take the reins and keep the tradition going!

Since our very first year in 2020, thanks to your incredible generosity, we’ve raised over $124,000 for community initiatives and local bursaries in Phillip’s memory. Every single dollar raised from this pool goes directly to the Annual Phillip Poirier Memorial Hockey Tournament to help keep that momentum and Phillip's legacy going strong.

Here are all the details:

Entry Fee: $20 per person

1st Place: $300
2nd Place: $80
3rd Place: $20
Last Place: Free entry into our Stanley Cup Playoff Pool

We were a bit late presenting our donation to Cabot Trail Arena - NIRCA this year but good things come to those who wait, right? Very happy to be able to give back $25,000.00 to the arena in Phillip’s honour.

We also gave two bursaries worth $1,000.00 each in June.

Since 2020, the Phillip Poirier Fundraising Memorial Hockey Tournament has given back a total of:

$112,000.00 to the Cabot Trail Arena
$9,500.00 in Bursaries
$2,500 to C.A.R.E.S.

We’re looking forward to the 7th Annual Tournament on March 5th, 6th & 7th, 2027.

We completely forgot to announce the top scorers from each division but better late than never right? All winners have been given their prizes.
