Does anyone know this fella? He tried to pay with a fake $50, but was decent enough to leave his unpaid items with us.

Heads up for fake bills. Police have been notified.

For everyone thinking we don’t know what fake money looks like….. It was compared to other bills in the store, when he was confronted, he did not deny, he did not question it, he did not say “I got this from the bank - it can’t be”(or anything similar to prove his innocence), he did not offer another form of payment, he stood there and says “ok” and promptly took off.

If this was you and a cashier thought your legal tender was fake, don’t you think you would put even a tiny bit of effort into proving it wasn’t? Maybe offer to pay with a different bill? Debit? Would you just take off?

The bill was thick papery feeling, the clear window did not go to the edge of the paper like a real bill.
