SUMMER HOCKEY CAMPS!

Reminder that this is happening tomorrow! I have a handful of hi-vis vests but it would be great if kids and helping adults could wear orange hoodies/shirts or neon colours (I know you have them!) to be safe and seen. Or if you have hi-vis stuff at home, bring it with you! See you tomorrow in the Rec parking lot!

U13 Tournament this weekend in Dawson!

Dawson City, come on out and pack the stands! The U13 Yukon Hockey Championships are here this weekend!! Bring your family and friends (and your noise makers!) and let’s show these players what Dawson City support sounds like!! 🥅🏒🤩📣💥
There will be a silent auction, Chuck-a-puck and DCMHA merch available!! See you at the rink!

Last weekend DCMHA sent some players down to Watson to join with the Carmacks kids in the U11 Yukon Champs!
Some highlights and memories from the weekend:
Aven sealed a win by scoring in the final second of their first game! The team built connections with the Carmacks players and enjoyed team bonding through bowling and shared dinners. They celebrated winning two games! Throughout the weekend, players also stepped into new positions, gaining confidence and valuable experience both on and off the ice!

🏒 That’s a wrap on the 2026 U9 Yukon Championships! 🏒

What an awesome weekend of hockey in Whitehorse, with a great showing from our U9 players from across the territory. The effort and teamwork were on full display all weekend long.

A huge thank you to Whitehorse Minor Hockey Association for hosting such a great event, and to all the coaches, volunteers, timekeepers, referees, and officials who helped make it happen.

Another thank you to the teams who made the trip to Whitehorse: Carmacks Minor Hockey Association, Haines Junction Minor Hockey Association, Watson Lake Minor Hockey, Dawson City Minor Hockey and Teslin Recreation - it was awesome to see so many communities represented.

The future of hockey is bright!
