The Carleton Place Canadians would like to announce the commitment of 2008-born Defenceman Antoine Grenier for the 2026-27 CCHL season.

Antoine is a big, mobile, two-way defenceman coming off a strong season with Collège Bourget. The 6’3” left-shot defender brings a great combination of size, mobility, and offensive ability from the back end, while using his reach and frame effectively in the defensive zone. Grenier is comfortable moving pucks, joining the rush, and contributing offensively, while continuing to develop his overall defensive game.

His combination of size, skill, and upside makes him an exciting young defenceman to watch as he takes the next step in his development with Carleton Place.

Deklan is a talented forward from Carleton Place, Ontario. Playing for The Hill Academy U16 AAA, Deklan has built a reputation for his speed, offensive creativity, and relentless compete level. A right-shot forward who can make plays at pace and finish around the net, he consistently creates scoring opportunities while bringing energy in all three zones.

The Carleton Place Canadians would like to announce the commitment of 2010-born Defenceman Rory Shaughnessy for the 2026-27 CCHL season.

Rory is a promising young defenceman from Almonte, Ontario. A smooth-skating blueliner with strong hockey sense and a dependable two-way game, Rory earned recognition in the 2026 OHL Priority Selection when he was chosen by the Kingston Frontenacs in the 5th round (96th overall). His selection reflects the steady development, competitiveness, and potential he has shown throughout his minor hockey career.
