Turf & Equipment Manager - Town of Cardston Lee Creek Valley Golf Course

The Town of Cardston is seeking a motivated and experienced Turf & Equipment Manager to oversee maintenance and operations of our golf course and related facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality course conditions, managing staff, maintaining equipment, and supporting safe and sustainable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily and seasonal golf course maintenance (turf care, irrigation, landscaping)
Supervise and schedule maintenance staff
Maintain and repair equipment and infrastructure
Monitor turf health and implement agronomic practices
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and OH&S regulations
Qualifications:
Experience in golf course or turf management
Knowledge of irrigation systems and turf care practices
Mechanical aptitude and equipment maintenance experience
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Turf management certification or related education is an asset
Pesticide Applicator License is an asset
Working Conditions:
Outdoor, physically demanding work
Early mornings, weekends, and extended hours in peak season
Seasonal workload with off-season planning and maintenance
This is a seasonal position with flexible hours based on operational needs.
