STAFFING UPDATE | KODIAKS CONTINUE TO BUILD FOR 2026-27

As we get closer to the start of the 2026-27 season, the Camrose Kodiaks are excited to announce several staff updates as we continue to strengthen our program both on and off the ice.

DEVON HERBERT | TRAINER & DRESSING ROOM MANAGER

A familiar face around the Kodiaks, Devon Herbert is taking on a new role with the hockey club as Trainer & Dressing Room Manager.

Devon joined the Kodiaks last fall, assisting with business and game day operations, and quickly became a valued member of the organization. We’re excited to see Devon bring his work ethic, organization and passion for the team into this new role as he works closely with our players and coaching staff throughout the season.

JAKE HUCULAK | ASSOCIATE COACH

Congratulations to Jake Huculak on his promotion to Associate Coach for the upcoming season!

Jake joined the Kodiaks last season for his first year as an Assistant Coach and immediately made an impact with his incredible work ethic, enthusiasm and commitment to making the program better every day.

We’re excited to have Jake continue to grow within the organization and take on an expanded role with our coaching staff.

JOSH HAGEL | STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COACH

We’re also excited to welcome Josh Hagel into the role of Strength & Conditioning Coach.

Josh brings extensive knowledge and experience in hockey development and is ready to put that expertise to work with our players as they prepare for the season and throughout the year.

As the owner and operator of HSC Hockey & Skills, Josh has continued to be an important asset to the Camrose community, working with players ranging from minor hockey to the professional level to help them develop their skills and reach their potential.

We’re excited to have Josh working with our players and helping them become stronger, faster and better prepared to compete at the Junior A level.
