Ferry leaves Buckley Bay at 9:00am (and the top of every hour) so arrive with time in advance to park, buy your tickets, and board the ferry!

That’s a wrap on the 34th annual Freddy Krueger Memorial Ride. Thank you to everyone that made it out and made the ride such a big success. Everyone is always welcome on any type of bike. We say it all the time, but we’re so happy to be part of your two-wheeled Journey!

Thursday inspiration: We saw .ashton ‘s story and just had to make a donation! Tyler, from Burnaby, is on a mission to raise funds for the Canadian Spondylarthritis Association (). He’s cycling across Canada AND back again for a grand total of 11,000km! Check out his journey at www.electrifyas.ca!

Exciting news! We are thrilled to support the Flowstate Racing squad for this 2025 season! It's our privilege to support this talented group, all of which are local racers from Campbell River and the Comox Valley, including our very own John Edward Vanderveen.

We can't wait to see this team at the races, doing what they do best, and we're there for them every step of the way.

The face of the shop, Ken, started working at PYW in the ’80’s so it’s safe to say he’s witnessed a few cycling trends come and go over the years (biopace anyone?). It’s hard to find a retro bike part that Ken doesn’t know how to fix! 🔧

The PYW crew takes so much joy in helping cyclists find their next bike or grabbing a new piece of kit. What a privilege to serve some families for multiple generations!

This man does everything with gusto and a smile 😀, even if it's sharpening skates or tuning a derailleur. Your co-workers and staff, friends, and family are all so thankful for you! Our little bike shop wouldn't be the same without you, and anyone who's stepped through our doors over the years certainly say the same thing. After serving multiple generations (!!!) of cyclists in Campbell River, you continue to brighten up everyone's day with your relentless joy. Thank you for being you, Ken.
