Join Coach Jayme for this six week nutrition and wellness challenge 🤩 This six week journey is designed to help you build sustainable habits, boost your energy, and strengthen your body and mind - alongside your Primal/Elevate gym community. Whether you are looking to dial in your nutrition, improve your recovery, or just stay consistent, this challenge is your chance to level up in a fun, supportive environment. Each week will have a new theme and at the end the top three participants will win cash prizes 👏 The challenge starts September 15th and the cost is $25 to join. We would like to say a big congrats to Taylor Verley who is the recipient of the 2025 Primal Athletics bursary! We were very impressed by Taylor’s bursary application that highlighted her dedication and passion for hockey and also her leadership and sportsmanship both on and off the ice. Last season Taylor was the only female in the U15 Tier 1 loop and next season she has earned a spot on the U18 AAA Vancouver Island Seals female hockey team 👏 She was also the only female official to be selected to referee at the 2025 U13 Tier 1 BC Hockey Championship that was held here in Campbell River. Her coaches wrote glowing letters of recommendation for Taylor and it is very apparent that she is always a huge asset to any team she is on.

Even with her busy athletics schedule Taylor managed to stay on top of her academics last year and also put in many hours of volunteer work. She also takes her off ice training very seriously and is always working out hard at our Elevate location.

As the recipient of the bursary, Taylor has won $1000 to put towards her athletic endeavours as well as 5 personal training sessions and a year pass at Primal Athletics/Elevate 🤩 Way to go Taylor! We can’t wait to cheer you on this season!

Here are the event descriptions for the Primal Summer Showdown 👏 There is still time to sign up and if you don’t have a partner still add your name to the sign up sheet and we will find you a partner. This is a fun, no stress in house event and we want everyone to take part. Can’t wait! 💪

We are excited to announce the Primal Summer Showdown happening this August 23rd at 9:00am! This will be a fun in-house partner competition that will feature 3 events (details to come soon!) Sign up sheet is posted in the gym and registration will be open until July 31st so grab a friend and sign up soon for this day of fitness, fun, and good vibes 😄💪☀️

It’s “Bring A Friend” day this Saturday! Call up your friends and invite them to our 9:00am class so that they can join in on the fun 💪 We hope to see some new faces!

We are excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for our 2025 Primal Athletics bursary! The winner will receive a free year long membership to Primal Athletics, five personal training sessions with one of our amazing trainers and $1000 cash to spend on sports equipment, training, travel or education.
