The Buffalo–Niagara Laban Laro Tournament has been serving the Can-Am martial arts community for decades, and we understand that times are tough.

With the exchange rate where it is, it has become increasingly difficult for our Canadian brothers and sisters to cross the border to train with us—let alone compete at our events.

So starting with our November 7, 2026 tournament, we’re doing something about it.
As long as I’m running Laban Laro, we will offer our Canadian competitors a 40% discount on competition fees to help offset the difference in the exchange rate.

No politics. No finger-pointing. Just martial artists helping martial artists.
