Lindy Hop is the grandfather to all swing dances! It emerged from the African American communities in Harlem, NY in the late 20’s and became widely popular. It is all about connection, improvisation, and play, and that’s exactly what we’ll explore.

You’ll learn classic moves, partner connection, and fun variations to help you feel confident and relaxed on the social floor ✨

No partner or prior experience needed!

We know it can be intimidating trying something new by yourself, so we are offering $20 off the series if you sign up with a friend.

Normally $90/person, but when you register with a friend, you’ll each save $20 → just $70/person.

Join us on Saturday to practice your Lindy, Charleston, Balboa, S**g, or Solo Jazz with other dancers! We will have music playing for you to dance and explore movements with others. Note that this is not a class but moreso a space to collaborate and learn together through shared experiences!

Everyone is welcome to drop in and join no matter your level or if you take classes with us or not. Come meet other dancers and get inspired by one another!

These practices have a pay-what-you-can model, with a suggested donation of $5 to go towards the rental.

Both classes are designed to be open level classes suitable for absolute beginners as well as dancers who want to go back to the basics and build stronger foundational skills, technique, rhythm, and connection.

Whether you’re brand new to swing dancing or looking to clean up your fundamentals, these classes are a great place to start. 💃🕺
