Recovery Tip: Listen to Your Body 👂💚
Your body is always giving you feedback—are you listening?
Feeling sore after a workout is normal, but persistent pain, extreme fatigue, or a noticeable drop in performance may be signs that your body needs more time to recover.
Recovery isn't about doing less—it's about giving your body what it needs to perform at its best. Some days that means pushing yourself, and other days it means taking a step back, stretching, going for a walk, or simply getting more rest.
Remember, consistency beats intensity. Listening to your body today can help prevent injury and keep you progressing toward your fitness goals.
Here are a few signs your body may need recovery:
✅ Unusual or lingering muscle soreness
✅ Feeling tired even after a full night's sleep
✅ Decreased strength or workout performance
✅ Low motivation or feeling mentally drained
✅ Persistent aches or pain
Recovery is part of the process—not a setback.
Take care of your body, and it will take care of you. 💚

Mobility move with Coach Kath!
The crab walk:
Primarily works your shoulders, triceps, glutes, hamstrings, core, and hip muscles, while also improving coordination and mobility.
Effective for shoulder strength and stability because your shoulders support much of your body weight while you move.
Step 1: Sit on the floor
Sit with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor, about hip-width apart.
Place your hands on the floor behind you, fingers pointing toward your feet or slightly outward—whichever feels more comfortable.
Step 2: Lift your hips
Press through your hands and feet.
Lift your hips a few inches (or higher) off the ground so your body is supported by your hands and feet.
Keep your chest open and engage your core.
Step 3: Start walking
Move your right hand and left foot forward at the same time.
Then move your left hand and right foot forward.
Continue alternating in a smooth, controlled motion.
Step 4: Keep good form
Keep your hips lifted as much as you comfortably can.
❌️Avoid shrugging your shoulders toward your ears.
✅️Take small, controlled steps rather than rushing.
Step 5: Reverse direction
Once you've gone several steps forward, try walking backward using the same alternating pattern.
📋️Coach’s Tip
If keeping your hips up is difficult, lift them only slightly.
Start with 10–20 seconds or 5–10 steps in each direction.
Rest and repeat for 2–3 rounds as you get stronger.
