When was the last time you trained your neck? 👀
Between desk jobs, computers and hours spent looking down at our phones, our necks deal with a lot.
Our 4-Way Neck Machine allows us to progressively strengthen the muscles that support and control the cervical spine through slow, controlled movement in four directions.
Building neck strength can help improve strength and function, and may be beneficial for those dealing with chronic neck pain or forward head posture. A stronger neck may also help better control head movement during an impact — one reason neck strength continues to be studied in relation to concussion risk and whiplash.
It’s an area most people never think to train, but an important part of building strength from head to toe.

Concussions aren’t just a sports issue.
As we age, one of the biggest risk factors for a concussion is simply - falling.
That’s why strength training matters. Better strength, balance, coordination, reaction time, and even neck strength can all play a role in helping reduce the risk or severity of injury.
Protecting your brain starts long before an accident happens.
💚 Tune in later this week as Kaley explains how our MedX 4-Way Neck machine helps safely strengthen the muscles that support your head and neck.
Strong legs. Stronger brain? 🧠🦵
Research suggests there’s an important connection.
In a 10-year study of 324 female twins, greater leg power at the start of the study was associated with better cognitive aging a decade later — including better performance in areas like memory and thinking.
Why study twins? Because twins share many genetic and early-life factors, giving researchers a unique way to explore how differences in physical fitness may relate to how the brain ages.
The researchers even found that greater leg power was associated with more total grey matter in the brain years later.
At Evolved, building and maintaining lower-body strength is a big part of what we do — supporting strength, mobility, independence, and healthy aging.
Train for the strength you need today — and the health you want to carry into the future. 💚

Every time your muscles contract, they release tiny messenger proteins called myokines. These signals travel throughout your body—including your brain—and researchers believe they play an important role in the conversation between your muscles and your nervous system. 🧠💪🏼
While scientists are still learning exactly how these pathways work, one thing is clear: regular strength training supports both physical and cognitive health as we age.
At Evolved, we believe strength is about more than muscles. It’s about building a body—and a brain—that helps you stay capable, confident, and independent for years to come. 💚✅
