Today is World Drowning Prevention Day!!!
Today, we recognize every pool in our city — big or small.

Every pool matters.
Every swimming lesson matters.
Every child who learns to be safe around water matters.
Every senior who stays active matters.
Every family that has access to swimming in their own community matters.

Pools are more than recreation. Pools is where we learn life-saving skills, built confidence, and where communities come together.
On World Drowning Prevention Day, let’s remember:
You don’t have to be a BIG pool to make a BIG difference.
Protect our pools. Use our pools!!! Invest in them and keep them accessible.
