The 2026 GFA Getaway, held from August 21-23, was a resounding success! 🙌 The Sport Development Committee welcomed 42 attendees from 13 different clubs from around the province. Sessions covered a wide range of GFA topics, from 101 Ways to Use a Mat, Coaching Boys, Year-End Events, and many others. Beth Gardner, who returned to Alberta after being a hit at the 2012 Congress, was an inspiration to the coaches and led many great discussions stemming from her decades of leadership and experience. 🗣️

Make sure to save the dates for the 2027 GFA Getaway August 20-22! 🗓️

Our staff were happy to see so many Canadians at the USAG Congress learning from many great presenters and making connections across the gymnastics world! 🙌

In our world, anytime you are lucky enough to have an opportunity to grow through learning from others is so beneficial! Plus, what you learn goes back to your gym and gets shared with other coaches, admins, and athletes to their benefit! 👏

That being said, we absolutely can’t wait to see you all at the 2027 AGF Congress from October 14th-16th! It’s going to be great! 🤩
