🏅 What an incredible achievement!

We are beyond proud of the 26 athletes from Special Olympics Calgary who represented Team Alberta at the Special Olympics Canada National Games in Medicine Hat. Through their dedication, determination, and sportsmanship, these remarkable athletes brought home an amazing 77 medals!

This success would not have been possible without the support of our outstanding team of 16 coaches, caddies, and mission staff, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to prepare, guide, and encourage our athletes every step of the way. Thank you for your commitment, passion, and countless hours of hard work.

Competing as part of Team Alberta, our athletes showcased excellence, resilience, and the true spirit of inclusion on the national stage. Their accomplishments are a testament to the power of hard work, teamwork, and believing in what's possible.

Congratulations to all of our athletes, coaches, caddies, and mission staff for making us proud. Your achievements inspire our entire community, and we are honoured to celebrate your success. ❤️💙💛

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the Special Olympics Calgary Annual Golf Classic last Thursday. Thanks to the generosity and support of our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, athletes, and local celebrity friends, the tournament was a tremendous success in raising awareness and essential funds that help make our programs possible.

We loved seeing our Special Olympics athletes out on the course showcasing their golf skills and connecting with our community. Events like this simply wouldn't be possible without the continued support we receive year after year.

Thank you for helping us create more opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities to train, compete, and thrive. We are so grateful to have such an amazing community behind us.

Tomorrow, we'll be gathering for the Special Olympics Calgary Golf Classic, and we can't wait to welcome all of our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters for an incredible day on the course.

Together, we'll be raising funds that help athletes with intellectual disabilities access sport opportunities, develop their skills, build friendships, and experience the joy of competition.

Our Athletes took part in the Alberta Powerlifting Union Provincials on Sunday June 14th. Those that competed lifted some big weight. Even our 4 Team Alberta athletes came by to cheer them on after their weekend in Edmonton. This was such a great way to end their lifting season!
