Strong doesn’t mean what you lift.

It’s not about lifting more than the woman beside you.
It’s not about comparing your weights, your reps, or your abilities to anyone else.

Strong is what YOU can do.

It’s getting stronger than you were yesterday.
It’s picking up a weight you couldn’t lift six months ago.
It’s doing a push-up when you couldn’t do one before.
It’s showing up when you don’t feel like it.
It’s choosing to keep going.

Your strong will look different from someone else’s — and that’s exactly the point.

Don’t compare your strength. Celebrate it. ❤️

Because strength isn’t measured by what someone else can lift.

It’s measured by what YOU can do.

There’s something special about working out with a grouo of ladies

It’s not just about getting your workout in—it’s about accountability, motivation, laughter, and community.

You show up, you work hard, you laugh, you sweat, and sometimes you complain about the burpees 😂… and somewhere along the way, you create friendships that go far beyond the gym.

I actually just saw a photo of two of my clients on social media together and thought, “Hey, where are you two?!” Turns out they were both in Montreal and had met up for a drink!

How amazing is that?!

Strong bodies. Strong minds. Strong friendships.
That’s what community is all about.

New sessions start September- limited space - contact me if you want to be part of something amazing

Cable machines are one of my favourite tools for strength training because they provide constant tension throughout the entire movement. Unlike free weights where tension can change depending on your position, cables keep your muscles working through the full range of motion, making them amazing for building strength, control, and stability. They’re also incredibly versatile — you can train almost every muscle group, change angles easily, and challenge your body in ways that mimic real-life movement.

Here’s the cable workout I did today 👇

✔️Cable Delt Crossover —
✔️Seated Lat Pulldown —
✔️ Y Raise — a great move to balance out all the trap-dominant movements and strengthen the smaller muscles that support your shoulders.
✔️Half Kneeling Wood Chops (High & Low)
✔️ Heavy Pallof Press —
This is a core stabilization exercise — and don’t be afraid to make it HEAVY. Your core’s job isn’t just crunching; it’s resisting movement and keeping you strong.
✔️Cable Deadlift + Squat —
Load it up! Especially on the squat — if it’s too light, you’ll literally feel yourself getting pulled backward

there are so many moves. You can do that just challenge you a little bit more than feeling maybe be intimidated with dumbbells.

I don’t usually post bikini photos… but here we are.

The last two years I did not feel comfortable in a bathing suit and definitely not in a two-piece!

This is 58.

Is it perfect? Nope.
Has it gone through a lot
YES

The last 10 years have brought their share of changes with perimenopause and menopause. There have been challenges, frustrations, and moments where I’ve had to learn to appreciate my body in a whole new way.

But one thing hasn’t changed…

I continue to show up.

This body has earned my respect.

I lift weights.
I run
I cycle
I challenge my body in ways that I can RIGHT NOW!

It keeps showing up, even when menopause, hormones, and aging make things harder than they used to be.

I train because I want to be strong, independent, and capable—not because I’m chasing perfection.

If you’re waiting until you feel “good enough” to celebrate yourself, don’t.

Take the trip.
Wear the swimsuit.
Lift the weights.
Take care of your body because it carries you through life.

Strong is beautiful at every age. ❤️

Not every workout has to be your favourite.

I’m about to head out for a bike ride, and if I’m being honest… cycling isn’t my first choice. I’d choose strength training or a run almost every time. But I’ve learned something over the years:

You don’t have to love every workout—you just need to find movement you enjoy enough to keep showing up.

Consistency beats perfection.

At the same time, don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. Trying something different challenges your body in new ways, builds confidence, prevents boredom, and reminds you that you’re capable of more than you think.

The best exercise isn’t the trendiest one or the one everyone else is doing. It’s the one you’ll actually keep doing.

So find your thing. And every now and then, challenge yourself with something that isn’t your favourite. That’s often where the growth happens.

Now… time to clip in and ride. 🚴‍♀️
