To my valued customers:

While I was away dealing with my mother’s failing health and then her death, my manager/ repair person quit without telling me. So, on top of the family tragedy, I am faced with the closure of this business.

All I can do is apologize for this huge inconvenience and loss to the hockey community, as I was proud to try and carryon Gus’s legacy. Unfortunately, he was Breakaway, and without him, we failed to be able to service his customers to the level you all were accustomed to.

For now, I will be at the shop from 10 - 4 to return any equipment that we have of yours. We are trying our best to contact you all to please come retrieve your gear.

On behalf of my family, I would like to thank you all for the great run that we did have, and all the best in your future hockey seasons.

🚨 Important Repair Notice 🚨
Our head repairman will be away Feb 4 – March 8, 2026.

✔️ Rivets & eyelets will still be handled during this time
⚠️ All other repairs (especially sewing-related) must be dropped off by Jan 23 to be completed before his vacation.

Any gear dropped off after Jan 23 may not be ready until mid-March.
