Referee of the Year: Ray Teruya

We are proud to recognize Ray Teruya for his outstanding dedication and service as a referee at the regional, provincial, and national levels.

Throughout the past season, Ray demonstrated an exceptional level of commitment, officiating at the Ontario Open, Quebec Open, Senda Cup, Red Deer Tournament, Saskatchewan Open, Rocky Mountain Tournament, Edmonton International, Pacific International, Provincial Championships, and Katsuta Kup. His extensive involvement and consistent professionalism make him a referee we can always rely on without hesitation.

In addition to his officiating duties, Ray played a key role on the tournament setup teams for the Rocky Mountain Tournament, Provincial Championships, and Open Nationals, contributing countless hours behind the scenes to ensure these events ran smoothly.

The fall 2026 season is very complicated because of the change in the schedule with USA PJC Cup being added to the schedule. We need to pre-plan and look at plane tickets early.

Dominican Republic U18/U21 PJC CUP
Departure Date: Tuesday September 08, 2026
Return Date: Saturday September 12, 2026
Age Groups: U18 & U21 who meet the eligibility standards

Ontario Open 2026
Departure Date: Thursday October 15, 2026
Return Date: Sunday October 18, 2026
Age Groups: 2nd Year U14, U16, U18, U21, SR, Veterans

USA PJC and Canada Cup 2026
Departure Date: Tuesday October 27, 2026
Return Date: Monday November 09, 2026
Age Groups: U18 / U21 & SR USA PJC Cup who meet the eligibility standards
Note: There are not eligibility requirements for Canada Cup for U21 / Senior
