NOVA U13 ID CAMP – COMPETITIVE PATHWAY PILOT PROGRAM

Nose Creek Softball is excited to introduce the Nova U13 ID Camp, the first step in our new competitive pathway.

Nova is designed for athletes who are motivated to improve and willing to invest in their own development. This program focuses on guided individual growth, helping players establish measurable goals and create a plan to achieve them.

Athletes selected for the pilot program will receive guidance beginning in the fall to improve key performance metrics through dedicated effort at home, and in group or private training opportunities.

We understand the obstacles multi-sport athletes have at this age when committing to a traditional club style training regimen, and are excited to offer guidance to ensure your athletes softball skills and friendships grow while her schedule remains manageable.

Development areas include:

-Throwing Velocity and Arm Strength
- Speed, Agility, Strength and Overall Athletic Performance
- Swing Mechanics and Small Game Skills
- Position-Specific Skills
- Softball IQ, Game Awareness & Mental Performance

The Nova coaching staff will help athletes identify areas for improvement, establish development goals, and track progress throughout the offseason. Success in the program will be driven by each athlete’s commitment to putting in the work between sessions.

Athletes completing the program will be considered for a placement opportunity on a provincial tiering team to compete in spring of 2027. The team will also apply for CMSA league play in the Rep Division, if available. For more information regarding the key differences in CMSA Divisions, please reach out!

At Nose Creek Softball, Chaos and Nova represent two different experiences — but they are part of the same softball community.

Chaos is energy, movement, unpredictability and excitement. The Catalyst.

It represents the heart of our community softball programming — a place to play, learn, compete, make friends and experience everything that makes softball fun.

Chaos is where athletes can discover their love for the game, develop their skills, while playing fair opportunity softball. We are not sure how the name Chaos was originally chosen, but our players have always been a disruptive force! In Science and Storytelling Chaos often leads to Creation. For many years we have developed and created Stellar Athletes with our Chaos Programming, but for some they had other sky high goals… 🤩

A nova is a new star that suddenly becomes incredibly bright.

A New Pilot Program is emerging and out of Chaos comes something Powerful -Built in Chaos to Shine as Nova.

Nova is for athletes who are ready to challenge themselves through additional development, measurable goals, individual accountability and higher-level training and competition opportunities.

It is a program built for multi-sport/multi-activity athletes or softball athletes who want to supplement their winter travel team programming while staying in touch with their spring teammates. Flexibility.

As Nova is a competitive pathway development program, we will also be welcoming athletes outside of the Nose Creek catchment area.

Okay we won’t completely leave you all hanging, Nose Creek has some exciting news to share and it is STELLAR ⭐️ Stay Tuned! 💙🥎

Congrats to our HS-2-1 for their bronze medal win at provincials this weekend after a triple header early in the morning. Best of luck to our graduating players- do amazing things!! Way to go girls!!

U19 Div 2-2 play so well at U19D Provincials this past weekend finished 1st in pool A with 3-1 record. They fought hard on playoff Sunday but just came up short. We are so proud of them for never giving up!

It was an amazing season and the last for a few of our girls as they age out. 4th in the province and 1st in cities- what a way to end your time with Nose Creek. Go Chaos!!!!

Our High School Division 1 team wrapped up their season at Provincials this weekend.

This team played hard all season and always showed up with smiles on their faces. For a few of these girls, it was their last season with Nose Creek after playing together since U10. It’s been amazing to watch them grow over the years, both as players and teammates.

The coaches and parents are so proud of everything this team accomplished this season. To our graduating players, thank you for all the memories and everything you’ve given to the program. We wish you nothing but the best in what’s next. To everyone coming back, we can’t wait to see what next season brings.

Congrats to HS 2-2 on their City Championship win! These girls went undefeated through the playoffs and earned a well deserved GOLD MEDAL VICTORY!!

U9 Priest won silver in city playoffs yesterday.

The team played awesome and it was so good to see how far they’ve progressed since the start of the season. Way to go girls! We are so proud of you!!
