While audiences will see the finished performance on stage this week, what makes this group so special happens long before the curtain rises. It’s the friendships built between rehearsals, the encouragement shared between dancers, and the feeling of belonging to something bigger than yourself.

For our PDP dancers, dance is more than learning steps - it’s being part of a community that celebrates hard work, supports one another, and creates memories that last long after recital day.

We can’t wait to share our production number with you at recital, but today we’re celebrating the moments in between. 💜

✨ Tiny moments behind the scenes… the giggles and excitement before the camera flashes… these are the moments that become the memories our dancers carry with them for years to come. 🩰💜

Our recital photos a couple of weeks ago were filled with so much joy, friendship, encouragement, and that extra special MWDA magic. Watching dancers hype each other up, fix tutus, squeeze into little friendship circles, and celebrate together is such a beautiful reminder that dance is about so much more than steps.
