This week at Wawawasi Dayhome, we combined fun and learning through activities designed for the holistic development of our little ones. We enjoyed the outdoors on the seesaw strengthening coordination and teamwork, stimulated the senses with a fun sensory water station with rubber ducks, and challenged their logical thinking by building structures with magnetic tiles and wooden blocks. In addition, they refined their fine motor skills and creativity through group coloring. It was a fantastic week full of discoveries, smiles, and so much growth through play! ☀️🎨

Esta semana en Wawawasi Dayhome, combinamos la diversión con el aprendizaje a través de actividades diseñadas para el desarrollo integral de nuestros pequeños. Disfrutamos del aire libre en el sube y baja fortaleciendo la coordinación y el trabajo en equipo, estimulamos los sentidos con una divertida estación sensorial de agua y patitos, y desafiamos su pensamiento lógico creando estructuras con mosaicos magnéticos y bloques de madera. Además, perfeccionaron su motricidad fina y creatividad coloreando en grupo. ¡Fue una semana fantástica llena de descubrimientos, sonrisas y mucho crecimiento mediante el juego! ☀️🎨

​We had the best time celebrating the Calgary Stampede today at Wawawasi Dayhome! Our little cowboys and cowgirls enjoyed a beautiful sunny day filled with outdoor games, delicious hot dogs, and a sweet ice cream treat to cool off. ☀️🐴

​It might look like just playtime, but today we were unlocking superpowers! 💪🧠 With these colorful paper boats, our little sailors are exercising their tiny hands (fine motor skills), discovering why things float or sink (early science), and finding calm through water play (sensory regulation).

​Learning through play is our favorite way to sail through the day! 🥰👣

​Aunque parece solo juego, ¡hoy estuvimos entrenando superpoderes! 💪🧠 Con estos barquitos de colores, nuestros pequeños marineros ejercitan sus manitas (motricidad fina), descubren por qué las cosas flotan o se hunden (ciencia temprana) y se relajan jugando con el agua (regulación sensorial).
