Our second-to-last outdoor session of the 2026 season was all about one of the most important parts of the game — 𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠! ☀️🏏

Players worked on fielding positions, backing up teammates, staying alert, and being ready for every situation. And there were plenty, plenty of catches along the way! 🙌

As they say: 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬! 💪

Every session is another opportunity to learn, improve, and grow—and our athletes made the most of it this Tuesday and Wednesday. 🏏💪

Across all academy groups, players showed great commitment, focus, and determination throughout their training. From sharpening their technical skills to supporting their teammates and embracing feedback, it was inspiring to see everyone pushing themselves to become better cricketers.

Progress is built through consistency, discipline, and a willingness to keep learning. This week's Friday Coaches Award recipients stood out by demonstrating exceptional effort, a positive attitude, and the values that define Future Cricket Stars Academy.

Free Family Cricket — Sunday, August 23 at Prairie Winds Park.

We hear it constantly from families in the northeast: cricket is the sport we grew up with, but our kids have nowhere to play it. So we're bringing it to the park.

Two hours. Every age. Real equipment, real coaching from Future Cricket Stars Academy, and zero cost to get in the door. Grandparents who haven't held a bat in thirty years are just as welcome as five-year-olds who've never held one at all.

This week’s indoor session was all about putting in the work with the bat. Players focused on building strong batting habits, improving their technique, and making the most of every ball in the nets.

The effort, concentration, and determination across the groups were fantastic to see. Progress comes from consistent work, and our players continue to show that they are willing to put in the effort to get better every session. 💪🏽
