For the fourth consecutive season, Ambition Branding delivered on a warm-up look that set the Lakers apart. Here are their notes on its creation.

“When we created the 2026 Burnaby Lakers warmup shirts we wanted to give the players something that felt like they were putting on their superhero costume.

Working with the Lakers’ iconic dragon logo, we took things a step further, starting with the arrow-shaped dragon scales forming the mane around the front and back of the shirt. We covered the back and sides in an updated chain mail pattern familiar to Lakers fans from previous Ambition designs, and then, inspired by Tolkien’s Smaug the Dragon, we illustrated a muscular, flexible chest and stomach at the front of the shirt, highlighted by red power lines leading up and out of the arms.

It’s always an incredible honour for us to be chosen to work with the Burnaby Lakers. Our team has already started working on the designs for next season’s shirts that we know fans are going to love.“
