A New Era Begins.
The BLRC are proud to announce a change at the top of the BLRC Mens program. Leo Chen, the 2025/26 Premier Mens MVP and BLRC Top XV winner will be taking the reins as Premier Mens Captain this season.
Leo ( ) is a graduate of the program who is entering his 3rd season with the BLRC Premier Team. The Big 2nd Row was instrumental in the success of the club last season with a huge work-rate and a nose for the try line plus some punishing tackles. We’d expect big things from Leo and the Mens program going forward and have complete faith in Leo’s ability to take us to the next level!

We’d like to thank our outgoing captain, Mr Bryce Worden for his years of dedication to the Blue and White, both on and off the pitch. A true club guy, Bryce led from the front, never saying “go”, always saying “let’s go”. That’s how legends are made. Thanks Bryce & we’ll see you back soon!

Preseason is looming as we await the release of the schedule for the 2026/27 season so stay tuned for updates on the BLRC. If you’re looking to get into the game, please reach out via DM or email [email protected].

Big congratulations to the BLRC contingent who helped the BC Rugby Gold squad win the 2026 Western Canadian Championship Series!!
The team went undefeated in 2 games, out scoring the opposition 74-25.

End of the 15s season got you down? Fear not, the summer touch season is just around the corner!

Starting Thursday May 21st, we will be running co-ed social touch rugby on Field 7 at BLRC.

Post touch, the clubhouse patio will be open for all your beverage needs. Full bar available!

New for 2026, we will be hosting a BBQ every Thursday after touch. $2 cash or purchase a punch card for $20 via cash or square.

With the conclusion of the senior season, it also marks the end of our mini rugby season. The BLRC would like to thank all of the parents, guardians, coaches and players for a great year!
