This was one of the funniest & action-packed skits we’ve ever seen here at MGBBA, with even the crowd getting into it! It was so much fun to see these two training partners put on such a realistic & fun fight scene, all the better with the heartfelt ending as Wanda Cherry comes out victorious (twice)! 🙌👏🤣

as we look back to last Saturday for our final MaTrix tricking class before our Summer break! 🙌

We had an absolute blast in class, especially with all the hype & energy to close out the term. We practiced backflips, had some awesome tricking battles, and got to have a great send off for our Instructor Mr. Daniel before he has to head east for University. It was a fantastic time just having fun with our teammates. 👊

A big thank you to our whole group, and especially our Instructors Mr. Owen & Mr. Daniel & Assistant Mr. Jacob for all their hard work & energy! 💥

Our next term of MaTrix tricking class will return in September!

as we look back this past Saturday on our last MaTrix class before our Summer break. This was also the last MaTrix class our Instructor Mr. Dorland could step in for before he leaves for University in the fall, so we wanted to have a great class as a send off. 💥

And WOW did the whole class deliver. This group in particular made a lot of progress over this last MaTrix term, and it was awesome to see everyone get into the energy and have fun tricking, showing off their skills, and cheering each other on.

A big shout out to our Instructors Mr. Owen & Mr. Daniel, plus Assistant Mr. Jacob, for also throwing down with some amazing tricks to show just what can be accomplished through hard work. 🙌👏👍

We’ll have more from this awesome day soon!

Available for all Junior & Tiger Students ages 4 & up (and their friends).

Drop off: between 6:15pm & 6:30pm 🚙 🚗
Pick Up: 9:30pm - Please do not be late.

All attendees must sign up and pre-pay in order to reserve their spot. ✅

We will be having a night of martial arts games, movie watching, pizza, popcorn, and a lot of fun! 🎥🍕🍿😃

your recent Fight For Fun Tournament, this time featuring our MGBBA Staff High Jump Kick! 🙌

Another crowd favourite that shows off the high-flying athletic skills of our own Staff, and helps keep their rivalries going as they quite literally try to one-up each other!

This year it was Mr. Owen taking home the gold!🥇

and we’re moving through our Sword term here at MGBBA, which means we’ll be working on the Form for the last few weeks.

The Sword form uses many of the techniques we’ve been working on throughout the term, and provides a great framework for our students to flex their creativity. Some of our best weapons forms for our Black Belt Extravaganzas have been with the Sword! 🙌

Even for their age, these students provide great action in their rounds and show a ton of determination. Plus they are also training partners & good friends, adding to the friendly competition they have going on. 👊

We have to wish a very Happy Birthday to our own Mr. Beckett! 🙌🎂👏

Mr. Winter is a Second Dan Black Belt who has been training with us since he was in Juniors, as well one of our top Assistant Instructors here at MGBBA.

Mr. Beckett is known for his humble attitude & hard work ethic on the mat, and has developed his skills into a fluid sparring style. As well, he is one of the nicest & most genuine individuals you’ll ever meet.

Mr. Beckett is an invaluable part of our Instructor team, always willing to lend a hand & help out at any occasion. All of our Staff here definitely owe him MANY thanks for all the hard work he puts into the Dojo!
