Join us this Saturday August 22 at Burnaby Lakes Rugby Club, as Vancouver’s finest footballers battle out for Championship glory.

After an epic and relentless season of skill, grit and determination, all roads now lead to the finals.

9:30 AM - Men’s Junior Final - Can ISSC claim their first Junior championship win since 2019?

11:00 AM - Ladies Junior Final - Can Fraser Valley final get the silverware they’ve so longed battles for, or can Van Isle retake home the title back to the island?

12:30 PM - Men’s Intermediate Final - A repeat of last years final, will St Finnians get revenge from their defeat last year or can Eire Og make it 2/2 years?

2:00 PM - Ladies Senior Final - A battle of the ages for these sides, as they face off in their 6th consecutive final against each other. Can Finnians finally break the streak or can ISSC take home their 7th title?

3:30 PM - Men’s Senior Final - The main event, St Finnians will be desperate to take home the senior after last years narrow defeat or will Eire Og spoil the fun?

Vancouver GAA Championship - Camogie & Hurling Finals 🏆

Join us this Saturday August 8 at Burnaby Lakes Rugby Club, as Vancouver’s finest Camogie and Hurling clubs battle out for Championship glory.

After an epic and relentless season of skill, grit and determination, all roads now lead to the final for these teams.

10:00 AM – Ladies Junior Camogie Final - Will Cu Chulainn stop Wolfe Tones winning back to back titles?

11:30 AM – Men’s Junior Hurling Final - Will the Wolfe Tones take home their first championship hurling gold?

1:00 PM – Men’s Intermediate Hurling Final - Cu Chulainn have already won this years title in the league format but will finish out the year with this game.

2:30 PM – Ladies Senior Camogie Final - JP Ryan’s Camogie have claimed back to back titles as they finished their season with 3 wins out of 4 in the league.

4:00 PM – Men’s Senior Hurling Final - Can Cu Chulainn finally stop the mighty JP Ryan’s and finally claim their first Senior title?

Vancouver GAA - Championship Week 9 - Results

Another busy week of Vancouver GAA action saw plenty of goals, close contests and a couple of fixtures postponed, while Fraser Valley Gaels also picked up two walkover victories at the weekend.

On Tuesday evening, we had all four Senior Ladies Football teams out in Burnaby. ISSC and Eire Og were first out on the evening and the game was nothing short of exciting.

ISSC took home the victory on the night with their accurate point-taking kept the scoreboard ticking over throughout, while Eire Óg battled hard and found the net once, but ISSC’s relentless attacking display proved too much as they claimed a 13-point victory.

Next up were Fraser Valley Gaels and St Finnian's Senior Ladies which saw St. Finnian's edge out Fraser Valley Gaels in an entertaining encounter.

Fraser Valley’s two goals kept them firmly in contention, but St. Finnians’ consistent scoring, particularly from points, made the difference as they secured a deserved five-point win.

On Wednesday evening, the night began with the St Finnian's and Fraser Valley Intermediate Men's game. This fixture was abandoned during the second half of the game due to a player injury and will be rescheduled in the coming weeks.

The later game of the evening which was due to be played between Cu's and Wolfe Tones Senior Men was also postponed and will be played at a later date. We wish everyone involved a speedy recovery.

Thursday evening saw Junior Cu's and Wolfe Tones hurlers go head to head in an exciting, high-scoring contest. Wolfe Tones came away with an 11-point victory. Cú Chulainn's raised three green flags to stay competitive throughout, but Wolfe Tones responded with an outstanding display of shooting accuracy, finishing with 2-21 to continue their strong form.

The last game on Thursday evening saw Wolfe Tones deliver a clinical performance in the Junior Camogie fixture, making the most of every attacking opportunity. Three well-worked goals proved decisive as they pulled clear of Cú Chulainn to record a comfortable 12-point win.

Both Junior games in the Men's and Ladies against Van Isle and Fraser Valley Gaels did not go ahead on Saturday afternoon. Fraser Valley were given a walkover for both games.

Vancouver GAA Championship - Week 6 - Fixtures

Senior Ladies Football returns tonight with a double header. ISSC meet St Finnians at 6:30, the sides have not met since last years final. Whilst Fraser Valley battle out with Eire Og.

On Wednesday, we have a double header between Wolfe Tones vs JP Ryan’s. Two big games as teams look to get their first win under their belts.

Lastly on Thursday, intermediate men’s football lights up the main pitch, as Eire Og take on Fraser Valley. And the Senior Camogie is on the second game of their series, as Cu Chulainn look to get a win under their belt to tie it up.

Vancouver GAA - Championship Week 3 - Results

Another exciting display of hurling, camogie and football took place in Burnaby last week. First up, we had the senior hurlers out on Tuesday night.

Both Cú Chulainns and Wolfe Tones found the net five times throughout the game, but the Cú’s came away with the win. Next up were the Intermediate hurlers. A high-scoring affair saw Cú Chulainn emerge with a ten-point win over JP Ryan’s.

Their movement and point-taking kept the scoreboard ticking over, allowing them to maintain control despite JP Ryan’s regular visits to the net.

On Wednesday evening, we had the Senior Camogie JP Ryan’s and Cú Chulainn’s teams out first. The Cú’s battled hard throughout the whole game but JP Ryan’s ladies proved too strong on the night.

The Junior Hurling match that followed later that evening saw Wolfe Tones claim a strong win over JP Ryan’s with goals setting these two teams aside on the night.

Thursday evening saw the football back in action with the Intermediate Men’s match up first. The closest game of the week produced a dramatic finish as St. Finnian’s edged Éire Óg by a single point.

The Junior Ladies was the last game of the week and it was an exciting one. Fraser Valley Gaels secured a hard-fought two-point win in a tightly contested encounter. Scores were difficult to come by as both defences worked tirelessly throughout, but Fraser Valley held firm to claim the win.

Vancouver GAA Championship - Week 2 - Fixtures

We have a busy schedule for this week, as we see the Hurling and Camogie begin their championship campaigns.

On Tuesday, the Intermediate and Junior kick off their seasons and on Wednesday, Junior Camogie returns with an epic opener between JP Ryan’s and Cu Chulainn. And last years’ Senior Champions JP Ryan’s will begin their title defence against Cu Chulainn, this will be a very exciting return to action.

Saturday we have a busy line up, as Van Isle travel over to kick off their junior campaign in a double header against St Finnians.

ISSC take on Fraser Valley in a senior double header in men’s and ladies, whilst St Finnians play Eire Og in the second double header of the day.

In between either side of the Ladies Senior games, our youth club Le Cheile will take to the field for some in-house action.

With the weather due to pick up again this week, this will be a cracking time for fixtures.

Vancouver GAA Championship - Week 1 - Results

Week one started off with a bang. The sun was shining across both Wednesday and Thursdays games.

The 1st Men’s Senior match of the year was a repeat of the Men’s Senior final last year. This time St Finnians ensured they had their playbook ready to beat the defending champions by 2pts.

2pters were a huge introduction this year and teams were displaying great kicking.

The Senior ladies took place on Thursday. First game was a tight affair between Finnians and FVG, with St Finnians taking home the bragging rights.

Whilst in the second senior game, ISSC claimed the pts against Eire Og.
