Burnaby North Lawn Bowling Club

On July 25, 2026, we had our annual Beamish Plaque event with the South Burnaby Lawn Bowls Club. This is one of two yearly inter-club tournaments we have between the two Burnaby lawn bowling clubs. This year, SBLBC visited us and we earned the victory on the Plaque. Good bowling to all!

Welcome summer! We celebrated the start of the season on June 20 with our Summer Solstice Bowl. Thank you to teams from Vancouver area clubs who visited us at Burnaby North to play in this event against our club teams. Good fun and good bowling!

On a hot early summer day, this group from the Burnaby office of Peter Kiewit Sons ULC had a team-building event on our green. Thank you for trying lawn bowling with us!

We have completed our spring program of try lawn bowling sessions with students from École Alpha Secondary School. Over six weeks, we hosted 33 lawn bowling sessions with students from grade eight to 11. This is the third year of this program with Alpha!

Catching up with our recent visit to South Burnaby Lawn Bowls Club for the annual Centennial Cup tournament between our two clubs. This year. BNLBC was the winner. Thanks to SBLBC for hosting us!
