It's Great to Belong! The objective of the company is that students are encouraged to learn the art of dance within a friendly, yet productive environment.

Cheryle Bodrug’s Burlington Dance Company is a family run business that has provided quality instruction to the Burlington Community for over 20 years. Cheryle Bodrug, BDC Founder and Artistic Director Emeritus, dreamed of creating a dance environment wherein students would find a sense of belonging and family, enjoy the art of learning, and in the process become highly skilled performers. Each and every student at BDC is an important part of our special dance community.

Words cannot even begin to describe all the feels from this past weekend! 💙✨

To think that a spark in 1991 has grown into this beautiful celebration of community, love, resilience, and dance is truly incredible. As we close out Burlington Dance Company’s 35th season, our hearts are so full.

That’s Entertainment 2026 graced the FirstOntario Concert Hall stage for two unforgettable shows this past weekend. Thank you to everyone who came out to watch, cheer, and support our dancers. Your energy and enthusiasm made the weekend even more special. 💙🎉

To our faculty, staff, volunteers, backstage crew, and families…thank you for helping make our show possible. No job, whether big or small, went unnoticed. We couldn’t have done it without you.

And to our dancers: thank you for your dedication, passion, creativity, and artistry. Watching months of hard work come together on stage was a joy and a privilege. You are the heart of BDC 🫶

What a way to celebrate 35 years of belonging! The 2025–2026 season was filled with unforgettable memories, and we’re already counting down the days until we do it all again in the fall. 💙✨
