The Burlington Pond Hockey Training Centre
Burlington's premier Hockey Training Centre since 2000
Recently, Coach Michele had the opportunity to speak , on skating biomechanics, movement efficiency, utilizing the proper muscles and more!
A National Level figure skater and skating coach for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Michele combines decades of experience with a deep understanding of how the body moves.
Her passion extends beyond coaching on the ice, she’s committed to educating coaches, therapists, and trainers on the science behind elite skating.
Interested in having Michele speak at your clinic, conference, or professional development event?
Let us know!
The fastest players aren’t always the quickest skaters, players who move efficiently can process the game faster.
When movement becomes automatic, players can spend less time thinking about their body and more time reading plays and anticipating opportunities.
The Pond is a studio for skill mastery to help build patterns that lead to faster thinking and better hockey.
Our training environment is designed to maximize repetitions while keeping groups small enough to focus on the details that matter:
âś” Edge control & agility
âś” Body mechanics
âś” Puck skills under pressure
âś” Decision making in tight spaces

“Has my child outgrown The Pond?”
We hear this question all the time, and the simple answer is of course not!
From youth players to OHL, NCAA, and NHL athletes, we train players of all sizes and levels.
Hockey is a game of details, and those details can always be broken down and refined.
