Meet the Team: We've had 2 new members of the Pro Shop team this season.

Ric (left) is retired from psychological and financial services (there's a combo) and has been playing for 9 yrs. His best golf trip was to the stunning Kananaskas course near Banff.

Justin comes to us from Cabot in Cape Breton and has a single digit handicap. He loves to travel and has spent the last 2 winters working at a course in New Zealand!

These gentlemen will check you in and are happy to help you with any of your golf needs.

Hole in One Alert - Regular Coleen Skynner carded her first "1" with her 4 hybrid from 135 yds on the 8th hole.

Coleen has been playing for over 20 years and experienced every golfer's dream while playing with her husband and their son on his birthday!

Coleen also broke a very unusual 7 week ace-less streak at Burlington Springs... so book a round soon to make your hole in one and get us back on normal pace 😉

Burlington Springs Golf & Country Club Ensures Long-Term Golf Operations as Conditional Sale Advances

Burlington Springs Golf & Country Club is pleased to share an important update regarding the conditional sale agreement with the adjacent quarry operator. The purchaser has now secured the necessary permits and licences, removing conditions on the transaction.

While this represents a future transition in ownership, Burlington Springs Golf & Country Club will continue to operate fully and without interruption for at least the next 10 years. The Club remains committed to delivering quality golf experiences, customer service, and community engagement throughout that period and beyond.

“Burlington Springs has proudly been a part of this community for 62 years — and that isn’t changing,” said Brad Bunkowsky, General Manager and Co-Owner. “Our golfers, staff, and neighbours can count on us to remain fully dedicated to the exceptional course conditions and warm hospitality they rely on.”

“This next phase ensures long-term stability and continuity,” added Debby O’Brien, Assistant Manager and Co-Owner. “We look forward to many more years of growth and investment as we continue to welcome golfers of all ages and abilities.”

Burlington Springs expresses appreciation to its loyal members, league players, dedicated team, and surrounding community for their ongoing support. The Club will continue to provide updates as needed and is excited for the seasons ahead.

Hole in One Alert - Regular Eddie Cirasella, who's played for 13 yrs, made his first ace on #17 from 150 yds with his 8 iron.

Ed had pulled a muscle on the 10th hole and almost packed it in. Instead, he slowed down his swing and better accuracy ensued.

We're certain Eddie's happy he hung in... as, no doubt, were his buddies when they celebrated later at our Bunker Bar & Grill.

Congrats Ed, keep up the slow swing!

Yesterday would have been the 100th birthday of Burlington Springs founder Larry Bunkowsky, pictured with Brad and Debby who took responsibility for the legacy on his passing in 2012.

An already successful entrepreneur, Larry purchased 2 adjacent Burlington farms in 1962. By 1963 he had designed and opened the course with the layout you enjoy today... but with far less tree coverage around most holes (stay tuned for a future post).

Our older players will also have their favourite "Larry stories" as he certainly was a colourful one of a kind... but we'll leave it to you to share amongst yourselves 😉
