It’s tiiiiime! Wishing all of my kiddos a wonderful first week back to school. Now is the time of the year where I remind you of the following:
1) Kindness is key. Be the person who includes someone who is left out. Compliment someone who looks like they’re having a rough day. Support your friends. And always be kind to yourself.
2) Respect is everything. Respect your teachers, your peers, your school, your belongings. Listening, manners, accountability and initiative go a VERY long way.
3) Get involved! Step out of your comfort zone. Try new things- whether it be a team, club, leadership role. Push yourselves! Oh and a lesson from little Lisa, if they don’t have a club you want…make it! Flashback to the dance club I created in the fourth grade for the kindergarteners;)
4) Work hard. Don’t wait for it to just happen or have someone do it for you. Put in the work and try your best! This is how we grow!
5) Approach this year with a clear, positive mindset. Let’s be excited about what’s to come!
6) Stay true to your values. New grades, friends, growing up in general can bring on additional pressures and stressors. Always stay true to what you believe in and what is best for you. The right people will be there by your side.
I love you all and am so proud of you. Make good choices. You’ve got this!!🧡
