Congratulations to Coach Laura Sivers on her performance with Team Canada at the Masters World Athletics Championships in Daegu South Korea!

Over the span of 9 days, she competed in 8 events, with one being a pentathlon, and placed in the top 10 in the world in each of them, while achieving personal best performances a total of 8 times.

Fantastic results in very hot, humid and challenging conditions exceeding 38 degrees, mixed with torrential downpours 🥵

Last weekend in Brampton two of our Junior Development athletes took on the Ontario Rising Stars Championship with outstanding results!

Leyton Parker competed in 6 events and came home with an incredible 4 medals in the U12 Boys category with multiple personal bests! He placed silver in the 1000m, bronze in the 80m Hurdles, 300m and 600m. He also placed 5th in both the 80m and 150m!

Elliot DeJong was coming off injury, so unable to run, he turned his attention to the throwing circle and won the bronze medal in the U12 Shot put! We know we’ll see him back on the track again soon to add to his collection :)

Great job by both these young athletes!

Eve Brewin raced the U18 2000m Steeplechase to a fantastic 13th in Canada at the Legion National Championships!

Amazing races by our U16 Steeplechasers to finish 10th and 13th at the National Championship! Gabriel Molomaya raced to a 9 second personal best to place 10th in 4:46.83 and Shauni Bhatt raced to an incredible 15+ second PB to finish in 4:56.51 for 13th!

Isla Langevin ran a huge PB in the U16 2000m to finish 8th at the Legion Nationals this morning, with a time of 6:42.72!
