I tried something new… I made sourdough bread from scratch! 🍞✨

A huge thank-you to my yogi friend Nancy McKinnon for sharing her kick-a$$ starter with me. I’ll admit, I was worried my first loaf might not turn out—but then I thought, who cares? I’m having fun, learning a new craft and enjoying the journey.

And guess what? It turned out to be the best sourdough bread I have ever eaten! Crispy on the outside, soft and delicious on the inside—and now I’m officially hooked. 😋

A little reminder that we don’t have to be good at something before we begin. Sometimes we just need to stay curious, embrace the process and see what rises. 😉

Tomorrow’s Gentle Yoga practice at The Barns of Brighton is inspired by a beautiful poem by Zach Beach—an invitation to trust the teacher within, release our armour, and allow life to move through us.

We’ll explore soft, flowing movement guided by the breath, create space through the body, and practise listening to what we truly need—without pressure or expectation. We’ll finish with a peaceful guided meditation inspired by the spaciousness of the ocean and the quiet wisdom of the heart.

Come as you are. Soften, listen, and allow. 💗🌊

✨ When community and collaboration come together, something truly special is created. ✨

I’m so grateful to be partnering with Adele of Reiki Readings With Adele for our upcoming Yoga Nidra & Reiki Evening. Adele’s calming presence and intuitive approach to energy healing will bring a beautiful new dimension to this experience, and I’m genuinely excited to share the evening with her.

I’m equally thankful for my continued partnership with Norm and Karine, the wonderful people behind The Barns of Brighton. Their warmth, generosity, and shared vision have helped make the barn so much more than a place to practise yoga—it has become a welcoming space where people can gather, connect, and feel part of a community.

On September 18, we invite you to step away from the busyness of everyday life and intentionally give yourself permission to let go of anything you don’t need anymore. Through gentle movement, deeply restorative Yoga Nidra, and Reiki, this evening will offer space to rest, receive, and reconnect with yourself.
